An 88-room Hampton Inn is now open in northwest Wichita.
The hotel opened Tuesday as an anchor tenant in Slawson Cos’ Cadillac Lake development near 29th Street North and Maize Road. A grand opening event for the hotel from 3 to 5 p.m. Jan. 30 is planned.
This is the first Wichita hotel for Branson, Mo.-based HCW Development Co. Rick Huffman, a Wichita native and CEO of HCW, couldn’t be reached for comment Tuesday, but a spokeswoman confirms the hotel is now operational.
