For several years, members of the Van Hook Park traveled eight miles to New Town and back to get water for their homes and cabins, but thanks to a $50,000 donation from Slawson Exploration Company, residents will soon have a water kiosk right in the park.
“When the proposal for Rural Water at Van Hook came across my desk, it was a no-brainer,” said Todd Slawson, president of Slawson Exploration Company. “This type of project that serves a community as a whole is exactly the type of thing that our company is proud to support.”
